The very sad thing about this, and what destroys this from being enjoyable to watch, its the vib is one of bitterness and spite. Obvious attemp to stick the finger up to metallica and in particular James hetfield. Thats the vibe this performance is giving off.

I'm seeing this ten years later, almost to the day. Jason Newsted was and remains one cool ass dude. I still miss NEWSTED the band. They had a damn fine debut but the profits never materialized, forcing their breakup. And although I think Robert Trujillo is a great bassist in his own right, I miss Jason in Metallica.
